*If you prefer to use the Fly by Jing noodle packages like I did, then you can omit the soy sauce and chili crisp I list as ingredients below. Otherwise, be sure to include them!

  • 2 servings noodles
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons chili crisp
  • 1/3 cup heavy cream
  • 1.5 cups cherry tomatoes, halved
  • Salt, to taste
  • 4 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • Parmesan cheese and basil, for topping (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a skillet over medium heat, add 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Once hot, add the halved cherry tomatoes, cut side down. Cook for about 5-7 minutes, or until they blister and caramelize. Season with salt to taste. Remove from heat and set aside.
  2. In the same pan, heat the remaining olive oil over medium heat. Add the thinly sliced garlic and fry until slightly golden brown and crispy, about 2-3 minutes.
